How was valueDACH created?
The first Value Investing Meetings were in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. At that time, the meetings were called meetups. Our meetings were an enrichment for all of us. But we lacked the exchange between the meetings, so we – the organizers of the meetings – came up with the idea of organizing a conference in early summer 2017. Thus the ValueWeekend, which we held for the first time in Stuttgart in October 2017, was born.
Our networking continued after the ValueWeekend. As a logical step, valueDACH was created in January 2018. valueDACH was born from the idea of making more out of the existing network. We wanted to open our circle to other interested people. We also want to share our value investing knowledge with others. We want to be an exchange and acontact for interested value investors. In a way, our name is the program. We are a community for the DACH region and neighbouring Europe. But we also offer an umbrella (German: Dach) under which other value investors can gather.
Since January 2018 we have further developed our offer piece by piece. Knowledge for value investors offers you extensive knowledge. Highlights from this section are the calendar for value investors, the overview of fund companies and value investing houses in Europe and the DACH region and our blog collection. In summer 2018 there were the first meetings in Hamburg, Cologne | Düsseldorf, Vienna and Zurich. In our blog you will find a lot of artitcles. Also on YouTube, twitter and LinkedIn we are present. You are very welcome to follow us there.
Who is behind valueDACH?
Behind valueDACH is a team of passionate value investors. We invest with value investing criterias. We live Value Investing. The goal of our team is to set a meaningful framework for cooperation for everyone. We want to create spaces for exchange. We are also happy to make commitment possible. The community idea lives on in our club: Anyone interested in value investing topics can get involved and participate. There are many low-threshold offers for this. It is important to us that these offers offer value in two senses: We want to offer you good value investing offers that are affordable.
Who can join us?
The theme of our community is Value Investing. We are open for different approaches and styles of investing: Net Net hunters, quants and other number fans, deep value investors, specialists for special situations, shameless cloners, distressed debt specialists and quality fans are all welcome. Our experience has shown us that the styles of value investing are as different as the people who are value investors. You have to find your own way to be successful in the markets in the long run. We are happy to support you in different areas and topics.
valueDACH is open to people who want to develop Value Investing with their ideas. We look forward to a particularly diverse exchange under our roof. Because just then one can look beyond one’s own nose, learn and reflect on oneself. Promoting your further development is important to us. We would be happy to support you.
